Thelma M. Ausmus

Thelma M. Ausmus, 72, of Sebring passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012. Thelma was born on December 25, 1939 in Crab Orchard, West Virginia the daughter of Richard A. and Mary Carter Critchley. She was a graduate of Greenbriar High School and attended Akron University for business management. Thelma worked for the Richfield Coliseum for 22 years and was the owner with her husband, of Thelma’s Diner in Sebring. Survivors include her daughters Pamela K. Ausmus of Wooster and Holly (Charles) Carroll of Salem; a son Jay (Sheila) Ausmus of Max Meadows, Virginia; grandson David “DJ” Ausmus of Virginia, four granddaughters Angela (Brady) Mark of Wooster, Kayla Topovski of Wooster, Miranda Christensen of Salem and Crystal Carroll of Salem; great grandchildren Trinity Mark, Jasper Mark and Jordan Bryant; a good friend and sister in law Shirley Lamson and many other loved ones and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 41 years Conway J. Ausmus who died August 25, 2002, and a grandson Cameron Ausmus. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Mikesell officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Wednesday June 6, 2012 and one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home.
