Ida M. Nelson, 76, of Sebring passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012. Ida was born in Rygate, Vermont on August 2, 1935 the daughter of the late William and Bernice (Chamberlain) Nelson; she retired from Alliance Community Care and had previously worked at Genie and Carnation Foods. Ida enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting. Survivors include three sons; Donald L. Nelson of Sebring, Michael W. (Dixie) Nelson of Alliance, Robert G. Nelson of Sebring; two granddaughters; four sisters, Margaret (Glenn) Stiles, of Lisbon, New Hampshire, Eva Courtney of Beloit, Priscilla (Leslie) Smith Sr. of Beloit, Ruth (Raymond) Spencer of Alliance and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a niece Lesley Smith, nephew David Courtney, grandnephew Ryan Hudson, a brother in law Harold Courtney.
